Today, RÚV English Radio looks to Akranes, and the multicultural festival returning to the town this Sunday.

The Festival of Nations West Iceland (https://www.facebook.com/events/2031126950963688) takes place on Sunday, at Íþróttahúsið, Vesturgata in Akranes, and celebrates the region's, and the country's, cultural diversity.

There will be many nations represented with performances, sampling from various countries' national food, handcrafts and much more.

The festival is free and family-friendly.
