Today, RÚV English Radio previews this year's Festival of Nations West Iceland in Akranes.
The Festival of Nations West Iceland (Þjóðahátíð Vesturlands) - https://www.facebook.com/events/1363044085084936/ - is a fun cultural initiative that aims to highlight the countries' diversity and foster a sense of understanding among different communities. There will be many nations represented with performances, sampling from various countries' national food, handcrafts and much more.
It all happens between 2pm and 5pm in Jaðarsbakki sports hall in Akranes on Sunday, November 3, and it's free!
Darren spoke once again to Maxine Hagen and Raquel Herrera to find out how preparations are going for this year's event.
