Today on RÚV English Radio, the making of a surprise presidential election hit.
When producer Matthías Eyfjörður was asked by a friend on the campaign team of Halla Tómasdóttir to make a track sampling some of her speeches, the resulting track Halla House became a sudden and runaway success. It formed part of the soundtrack at Halla's election party in Gróska, when the results became clear.
Darren joined Matthías at his studio in Árbær to see how it all came together.
