Today, RÚV English Radio is back in Húsavík.
The Maritime Museum is one of two permanent exhibitions in Húsavík's museum (https://www.husmus.is/en/husavik-museum#maritime-museum), showing the evolution of fishing and boat building in the area. It also shows how people accessed the riches of the ocean and the beaches in order to survive.
And it is home to the largest polar bear ever to have drifted ashore in Iceland!
Darren is again guided by Nicola Van Kuilenburg.
RÚV English Radio is heard around the world and in Iceland, celebrating Icelandic culture, art, music, language, and much more.
