Episode 585 - WACKEN METAL BATTLE

Today on RÚV English Radio, the Wacken Metal Battle, coming to Reykjavik this weekend!

On Saturday, seven metal bands will compete in the battle (https://tix.is/en/event/19329/wacken-metal-battle-2025) for a special prize - representing Iceland this summer at the Wacken Metal Battle finals at the Wacken Open Air in Germany (https://www.wacken.com/en/), the world's biggest heavy metal festival, along with 31 other nations.

Darren spoke to Icelandic organiser Þorsteinn Kolbeinsson.
