Iceland is a whisky producing country - and it all comes from the Eimverk Distillery in Garðabær.
Eimverk (https://flokiwhisky.is/story) is a family operated distillery producing three spirits from local ingredients: Vor, a gin; Víti, which is a Brennivín - and of course, Flóki, a single malt whisky (https://flokiwhisky.is/spirits). It's the only one produced in Iceland.
Darren met Eva-María Sigurbjörnsdóttir at the distillery to see how the whisky is made, and find out why Icelandic barley makes for such a distinctive taste.
