Episode 640 - SUMAR Á SELFOSSI / SUMMER IN SELFOSS

Today on RÚV English Radio, another of the summer town festivals taking place in Iceland this summer - and the football team for which it raises money.

Sumar á Selfossi (https://issuu.com/sumaraselfossibladid/docs/sumar_selfossi_bla_i_2025_) marks, as you might guess, summer in the town of Selfoss. Three days of festivities begin tomorrow, 7 August.

The festival however also raises money for the Selfoss football team Árborg (Knattspyrnufélag Árborgar) (https://www.facebook.com/arborgfc).

Darren spoke to festival head and Árborg director board member Bjarni Haukur Guðnason.
