Episode 594 - MICHAEL MCGLYNN AND ANÚNA

Today's guest on RÚV English Radio is composer Michael McGlynn.

Michael, who is from Ireland, runs the ANÚNA Collective, which includes three groups - Systir (a female vocal group www.systir.ie/media), M'ANAM (a male voice group that feature Icelandic singers alongside British and Irish), and the legendary ANÚNA (www.anuna.ie).

A love of Iceland is evident in the music of all three.

Darren spoke to Michael about how Iceland informs his music, and the new ANÚNA album, Eilífð, largely recorded here in Iceland.
