Today, RÚV English Radio finds out about the latest in a series of events around the country, organised by The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour.
They are shaping new policy on how best to provide immigrants with the opportunity to better integrate and actively participate in society - and need your help.
The next event is at the Hotel Reykjavík Grand, next Wednesday, 28 February - https://www.facebook.com/events/1110119403511156 - and is followed by a final evening at the Berjaya Hérað Hótel in Egilsstaðir on 11 March.
Darren met with Áshildur Linnet from the ministry, who has organised these events previously in Akureyri, Ísafjörður, Selfoss and Borgarnes, to find out more.
