Today, RÚV English Radio previews a very special concert, next Saturday.
The Reykjavík Women's Choir - Kvennakór Reykjavíkur (http://www.kvennakorinn.is) celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
Its first ever rehearsal was on January 25, 1993, but the choir was officially founded on May 8 of the same year after a spring concert in Langholt Church.
Now, after three decades, the choir is looking forward to a spectacular anniversary concert in Harpa - https://www.harpa.is/en/songur-og-gledi-i-30-ar-afmaelistonleikar-kvennakors-reykjavikur
