Episode 966 - GÍSLI GUNNARSSON: ÚR ÖSKUNNI - LIVE IN GRINDAVÍK, BÍÓ PARADÍS

Today on RÚV English Radio, Grindavík's Gísli Gunnarsson, and the music he's made inspired by the town.

Last November, Gísli Gunnarsson launched the album Úr Öskunni with a special gig in his home town of Grindavík (https://www.ruv.is/english/2025-11-03-ruv-english-radio-grindaviks-gisli-gunnarsson-ur-oskunni-457809).

The concert was filmed and recorded - the album (https://www.gisligunnarsson.com/shop) is out later this month, while on Friday 6 November the film premieres at Bíó Paradís (https://www.facebook.com/events/4434455083550555/).

Gísli met Darren again to talk about the concert and album, and his life away from Grindavík since the evacuations.
