Episode 965 - UNION FUNDING OF ICELANDIC TEACHING

Today on RÚV English Radio, new difficulties for some union members when it comes to accessing funds for private Icelandic learning.

Previous guests Sandra and Chris are the team behind Icelandic AI (https://www.ruv.is/english/2026-03-25-ruv-english-radio-learning-icelandic-with-icelandic-ai-470832), a new way to learn Icelandic which launched earlier this year.

Several unions are preparing to overhaul how they fund Icelandic courses, tying reimbursements to traditional language schools and, say Chris and Sandra, cutting off access to both digital platforms and private teachers.

They joined Darren again to discuss the issue.
