A 2022 film directed by Hlynur Pálmason. Toward the end of the 19th century, a young Danish priest travels to Iceland to build a church and photograph the island’s inhabitants along the way. An eccentric guide leads the priest across the harsh landscape on horseback, accompanied by a group of locals. As the journey progresses, the priest gradually loses his grip on reality, his mission, and his own morality. Starring: Elliott Crosset Hove, Ingvar E. Sigurðsson, Vic Carmen Sonne, Jacob Lohmann, Hilmar Guðjónsson, and Ída Mekkín Hlynsdóttir. Not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
